I have noticed that many Civilians have spoken of plans they would do to prevent themselves from falling pray to Zombies say the world was ever to come to that.
A few mistakes people often make are:
1. Getting in your car and leaving town is a bad idea because everyone panics and will be doing the same thing, which is good for the people like me, and bad for the people like you who end up grid-locked in traffic while zombies reek havoc on you and the other civilians.
2. Armoring your vehicle is a waste of time and effort. Period. Though in theory sounds good, it will take time and add weight to your vehicle. Lower Gas Mileage.
3. Rushing to the gas station. Why? Remember #-1 where I stated that everyone will be trying to leave town? Well they need gas to so after everyone drains the station of gas they end up getting into that grid-lock traffic and end up going no where.
Okay, now going back to #-1. Remember how I said
Well my plan is to hold up until most of the chaos has gone down and the population drops. While everyone is being eaten, because they got stuck in grid-lock. Guess what? I am sneaking down and siphoning the gas from all those now empty cars because where did they go before heading out? Right, the gas station.
See the first place I would hit up is a place where there are Large Gas Cans so that I can carry large portions of gas. The second stop would be a Private Patrol Operator (Security Guard Company). The reason for that is I have worked for enough to know where the keys for the patrol cars are kept. Aside from that the company I would focus on would be the one with Armored Cars.
The Armored Car:
The armored car allows protection from crazy civilians who would otherwise steal any operational vehicle. It provides bullet proof glass and armored panels which protect me from again, zombies AND nut-job civilians who'd try and take my transport.
The Second Stop:
The Second place I would stop at would be the sporting goods stores, Gun Stores, Military Surplus, and Walmart.
See I would pick up knives, bows-n-arrows, camping supplies, propane, and air-soft (gas powered). Pretty much any form of fire-power lethal or not and I would load it into the BACK of the Armored Truck (where the money is typically kept). Keep in mind Military Surplus stores typically have M.R.E's and walmart has canned goods.
The Hold Up:
After all the things I need are stored within the vehicle. I will head off to a number of locations I have throughout the years scouted out.
The mental ward provides all of the basic needs; Showers, Rooms, Security doors (back-up generators), kitchen, and above all-else MEDICAL SUPPLIES!
The RV Lot would fit into the complex scenario which I'll go into later.
Hyatt Hotel. They have a suit on the top floor and fire doors which seal off the floors. You can get out but the doors do not let you in! Making the floor secure. If the building is infected, not a problem clearing the floor will be easy. Aside from that not every room is going to be infected, odds are the main Suite will be free.
This is my rough-draft plan, I have a more detailed complex one but I'll wait to see what you all think.
